Flint Whitlock, Colorado Authors Hall of Fame

A lively presentation about the history of the 10th Mountain Division that trained in Colorado during WWII. Once deployed, they never lost a battle nor gave up an inch of ground. After the war many returned home to start ski areas in Aspen and Vail.

 Flint Whitlock is an award-winning writer and historian with over 30 years experience in the military field. He has authored or co-authored 16 books and scores of published magazine articles on topics mostly related to American military history, including the critically acclaimed  Soldiers on Skis: A Pictorial Memoir of the 10th Mountain Division.
