CarbonCREW and viewing of the 2040 Film – A Story of Hope through Personal Climate Action

The Grange will be hosting a CarbonCREW evening Tuesday, September 17 at 6:30 p.m. We will show the movie “2040″, and then discuss the CarbonCREW program and some positive climate developments that provide hope and optimism.
CarbonCREW was founded in 2021 by three women on Long Island who read the book 2040 for their book club and felt a deep calling to develop a program that would bring actionable change to the climate crisis. 2040, by acclaimed Australian actor and filmmaker Damon Gameau, is an optimistic look at what the world can become by 2040 if we only implement the technologies available today. Damon travels the world and speaks with experts including Paul Hawkin (Drawdown) to find the best climate solutions available. 2040 and CarbonCREW provide both a vision and an empowering action plan to get us there. Light refreshments will be served.
